We lost our much loved Celeborn in late September after 17-1/2 great years. Lady Galadriel seemed pretty lonely, and we didn’t want to let her get used to being the only cat in the house, so we started looking, and on November 2, 2019, Elrond came home with us. He was about 3 pounds, and pretty adorable. He’s been with us for a little over 8 months as of this update (04/28/2020), is up to about 10.5#, and appears to have more energy than seems physically possible for a package that size!
Happily, Lady Galadriel, after a bit of hesitation, seems to have decided that she likes having a new kitty around. There is much jumping, chasing of balls, chewing on toys, and tearing back and forth through the house.
We haven’t had time to drag out the big cameras yet, so most of these are shot on my iPhone.

Near the end of March, 2020, Elrond has grown bigger and bigger. He’s at just over 9 pounds now at about 7 months old. You can see the difference in these shots between the January 3 shot and the March 22 shot!
